World Wrestling Entertainment was in a slumphole. Things were very bad for Smackdown! and things eventually got bad for RAW, even with the slight jumps in the ratings. WWE eventually found itself almost bankrupt and a new promotion decided to make it's entrance into the world of professional wrestling. Great American Wrestling. GAW saw that WWE was plumeting, and decided it would be nice to feast on their superstars, so GAW quietly got in contact with some of WWE's misused undercard, and stuck a deal with them. They quietly let their contracts expire, and after the 90 day no compete clause, they would come on over to GAW and they would sue them right. And so, WWE was not completely shattered, just a little bit confused. As WWE plumeted even farther, they could not afford their big named stars. The likes of Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Kane, and The Undertaker decided they were not having any of the sinking ship. For the rest of them? They were to loyal, and called everyone who left un-loyal, but yo ucould see in their eyes they almost wanted to go. And so, this is how the WWE was beginning to become no more.
